Last year, I was fortunate enough to work (and die – practically a northwest actor’s right of passage) on NBC’s Grimm. I appeared as Quinn, the bartender, who ended up on the wrong end of a silenced German pistol, (a Luger if I am not mistaken) when he was simply trying to help someone he thinks is of a similar ilk.

Grimm Season 1 Episode 18, NBC, david s hogan

David S. Hogan as Quinn in NBC’s Grimm.

I shared my screen time with Sebastian Roche’, who was extremely nice and very easy to work with, on top of being an excellent actor. My time on set was a great learning experience, along with being my first time on network television. The previous year I worked on the pilot Thunderballs, but, alas, as of this post, that pilot has not been picked up.

Working on Grimm got me my AFTRA card, and about a month later, the unions merged, so now I am a member of SAG-AFTRA.
