Seattle has a wonderfully supportive and energetic indie film community. This is a revelation. I “joined” this community last year, in 2011, when I worked on Shadowed then All My Presidents. Shortly after that, I began blogging, heavily, about the importance of craft for the actor.

This post, however, is, surprisingly enough, not about me. This is about the film Revelation, which premiered this past Wednesday to a packed house at Teatro Zinzanni in Seattle, WA.

The film, and the premiere – which was really an event, a complete evening filled with music, burlesque, spoken word, and beyond – was bold and beautiful, and I am lucky to call many of those involved my friends.

If you don’t know about Revelation, I highly suggest you check it out.
